
David Moulton MA has created and implemented a variety of marketing and sales plans in several different industries and has measurably improved revenues and profits for his clients.
During his career, Mr. Moulton has had the responsibility for a number of multi-million dollar business development opportunities and has successfully concluded a significant number of them.
Mr. Moulton has also provided sales training for both sales staff and sales management groups. He has done sales training across Canada and the USA.
He has also been the meeting facilitator for a large number of groups, including employees, managers, Boards of Directors and multiple organization situations.
Mr. Moulton holds a MA from York University and graduated from the SMEI/UBC Sales and Marketing Management course in 1999. He also holds the Certified Marketing Executive (CME) and Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designations.
Mr. Moulton has served as the Chair of the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Professional Committee for the BC Childrens’ Hospital Foundation and he is presently President of the Vancouver branch of Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI). He is a member of several professional organizations including the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA), Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC) and the Federation of Post Secondary Educators (FPSE).
At present Mr. Moulton is an Instructor for the Marketing Department of the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration at Douglas College in New Westminster. He owns Moulton Toft Inc., a company that has a close working relationship with Sunrise Solutions.
His clients have included TELUS, BC Chamber of Commerce, HSBC Canada, Grant Thornton, North Shore Credit Union and Richmond Savings Credit Union.
From 1998 until 2001, Mr. Moulton was Vice President of Business Development for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Vancouver. He was involved in a number of multi-million dollar sales and handled major clients including the Jim Pattison Group, Weyerhaeuser Company, BC Hydro, Placer Dome and BCAA.
Prior to joining PwC, Mr. Moulton had established his own company in partnership with his spouse Marian Toft. Since 1993 Moulton Toft Inc. has been providing senior sales and marketing expertise to a variety of companies. The company also provided sales training and group facilitation.
In 1992-1993, David was the Regional Vice-President of Proudfoot PLC, a leading company in process re-engineering. He was responsible for several successful projects across Western Canada.
From 1989 to 1992, Mr. Moulton was employed at the CIBC as a Vice President and District Manager and was transferred to Vancouver from Toronto. His district consistently outpaced the regional and national results in sales.
In 1987 Mr. Moulton took a senior manager role at the Bank of Nova Scotia, assisting them with the re-organization of their retail branch network.
Prior to this Mr. Moulton worked in various sales and sales management positions with Maclean Hunter, Pitney Bowes and the Globe and Mail. He was the winner of numerous sales awards throughout his sales and sales management career.
